As specialists in custom home design, we favor space optimization, volumetry and integrated fitting.

Renovation Approach
First step :
– Design Study Phase (existing plans, projected plans, demolition plans, cuts and elevations of the kitchen and bathrooms, plan of electricity, technical descriptions, final 3-D perspectives) give a clear vision of the renovation.
– On-site visit with our interior designer to establish the project feasibility before the works begin.
– Analysis of requests, objectives and technical constraints.
Design studies delivered in digital and hard copies
– Description of the project according to each trade (demolition, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, stone-layers, cabinet-makers, painters etc.)*
– First precise budget for the project by the tradesmen*

Second step:
- Cost estimate: 350 € HT(deductible in case of confirmation) for surfaces 30 m2 or smaller/500 € HT (deductible in case of confirmation) for any area between 30m2 and 60mp2/750 € HT (deductible in case of confirmation) for any area between 60m2 and 130m2/1000 € HT (deductible in case of confirmation) for any area between 130m2 and 200m2/ 1250 € HT (deductible in case of confirmation) for surfaces 200 m2 or larger.
- Interior decorating: Choice of paint colors, countertops, parquet, polished cement, cabinetry, lighting, mirrors, glasswork, bath fixtures and plumbing, kitchen and baths, fabrics, moldings etc.).
- Style boards: complete with paint and fabric samples.
- Coordination of the tradesmen’s schedules.
- Project execution assured by our teams and supervised with care until the final delivery.
Haussmann interiors specialist
Specializing in the layout and renovation of Haussmann-style apartments, Herold Design has been active since 1999 in the Haussmannian buildings of the 8th, 16th, and 17th arrondissements of Paris. These buildings require special attention due to specific features—such as ceiling heights, parquet flooring, fireplaces, moldings, window and door fixtures, ventilation, heating systems, plumbing, and internal layouts—as well as the technical constraints inherent to co-owned properties. Our execution of design projects must strictly account for all constraints associated with the Haussmann building typology.
Two projects serve as examples: the “Louvre Project” (Paris 1st, a prestigious 6–7 room, 165 m² apartment), which was completely restructured following a detailed design phase; and the “Montaigne Project” (Paris 8th, a 5–6 room, 155 m² apartment in the “Golden Triangle”), which was entirely reimagined and modernized after an ambitious design process, including the full restoration of moldings, herringbone parquet flooring, and window and door fixtures.
Our process
1. Project analysis
On-site visit and consultation: an initial meeting is scheduled on-site with our interior designer to analyze your requirements and consider any technical constraints.

2. Project design
Technical plan development: our interior designer in Paris will first provide several proposed plans, which will be discussed and reviewed by both parties to finalize the design. Based on this design, our interior designer will deliver all the technical drawings (existing plans, proposed plans, demolition plans, masonry plans, electrical plans, carpentry plans, and kitchen and bathroom sections and elevations).
Modeling and detailing: creation of 3D perspectives for total immersion!
Collaborative monitoring: meetings at the agency or via Zoom videoconference to validate each stage of the study project.
3. Project contractualization
Following an initial overall budget and timeframe proposal approved by both parties, a detailed quote at the budgeted price can be prepared, through the signing of a work order.
Finally, we develop finalized mood boards based on catalogs and samples.
4. Project execution
Herold Design coordinates all trades and rigorously monitors the project until its completion.
To enhance your interior, we pay particular attention to the selection of materials. We manage all orders ourselves, with the client’s full approval, whether for selections of paint ranges, marble and ceramic tiles, parquet flooring, polished concrete, joinery, walk-in closets, bookcases, facades, lighting, mirrors, glassware, faucets, built-in fixtures, sanitary ware, bathrooms and kitchens, appliances and equipment, veneers, wall coverings, fabrics, draperies, trimmings, blankets, furniture, contemporary art, or accessories. We prioritize the quality of materials and ensure the consistency of the final result.
We update all the essential technical plans and sections necessary for the smooth running of the project, such as demolition plans, project plans, masonry plans, electrical plans, carpentry/closet/dressing room/library plans and elevations, kitchen sections and elevations, bathroom sections and elevations, tiling plans, sanitary installation plans, glazing plans, and trimming plans.
Each week, our interior designers will send you a weekly site report with technical photos, allowing you to follow the progress of your project entirely remotely!

Can I monitor my project from abroad?
Absolutely. We are experienced in managing renovation projects (standard, custom, or luxury) independently for an international clientele with often busy schedules. You are under no obligation to visit the site: each week, a progress report with technical photos is sent to you digitally. This rigorous monitoring allows you to see every detail of your project’s progress in real time. Our dedicated support for international clients.
What budget should I expect?
The budget depends on the nature and complexity of the project. We proceed step by step. Following the initial feasibility study, a preliminary budget proposal can be provided, after which the client can commission the agency to prepare a detailed quote in accordance with the feasibility study.
